To release the Quick Connect model of the sound moderator from the Quick
Connect adapter, hold the sound moderator by the barrel [2QC] at the barrel end
of the firearm, and not by the over barrel expansion chamber [4QC], to prevent the
unintended release of the module!
The Quick Connect model of the sound moderator can only be mounted in one
position due to an error-proofing device!
All sound moderators may only be opened or dismantled in a cold condition!
Before shooting, check the max. caliber diameter of the sound moderator!
5. Important information!
• The middle “close” section is used to screw on bolt cap [1OB] and the monocore
[3OB] and the “open” section to unscrew the bolt cap [1OB] and monocore [3OB].
• By holding the circumference of the sound moderator barrel [2OB] with one hand,
no second key is necessary for mounting the sound moderator.
• Only mount and dismount by hand; none of the parts for mounting/dismounting
may be clamped in a vice or other clamping devices.
• The threads on the individual components and centring chamfers between the bolt
cap [1QC] and monocore [3QC] must be lubricated/oiled before mounting: see
figures 1–6 (page 8) with [L] marking (Recommended: Fluna Tec GunCoating).
• First screw the bolt cap [1QC] (figure 4) hand-tight into the sound moderator barrel
[2QC] using the supplied universal key [5QC]; to do this, use the universal key
[5QC] in the “close” position; then screw in the monocore [3QC] from the opposite
side of the barrel end and tighten until hand-tight using the universal key [5QC] in
the “close” position; finally, screw the over barrel expansion chamber [4QC] onto
the monocore external thread and tighten until hand-tight.
Carry out the steps in reverse order to dismount!
