• The threads must be free from dirt.
The open/close function of the supplied universal key [4OB] must be strictly
observed.
The middle “close” section is used to screw on the monocore [3OB]
and the “open” section to unscrew the monocore [3OB].
By holding the circumference of the sound moderator barrel [2OB] with one hand,
no second key is necessary for mounting the sound moderator.
Only mount and dismount by hand; none of the parts for mounting/dismounting
may be clamped in a vice or other clamping devices.
The threads on the individual components and centring chamfers between the bolt
cap [1OB] and monocore [3OB] must be lubricated/oiled before mounting: see
figures 1–6 (page 8) with [L] marking (Recommended: Fluna Tec GunCoating).
The bolt cap [1OB] (figure 4) is fully screwed into the sound moderator [2OB]
(figure 3) by hand, and gently pulled tight on the contact surface using the universal
key [4OB] in the “close” position. Then the monocore [3OB] (figure 1) is inserted
on the opposite side and pulled hand-tight in the “close” position.
When mounting the sound moderator on the barrel it should be tightened until
hand-tight, as otherwise it can be difficult to remove when hot.
Carry out the steps in reverse order to dismount!
The whole bayonet interface (parallel pins, O-rings, centring diameter) must be
clean and covered with a light film of oil (page 7, figure 5).
(Recommended: Fluna Tec GunCoating, or other standard gun oil;
do not use any volatile preservatives!). Any damage to the QC adapter must be
professionally repaired before mounting the sound moderator, or the adapter must
be fully replaced.
The open/close function of the supplied universal key [5QC] must be strictly
observed.
