8. Loading/unloading
8.1 Loading
Only load the firearm immediately before use.
 Fill the magazine [12] (see Chapter 10).
 Open the bolt [3] (pull back in the direction of the arrow to the end stop).
 Push the full magazine [12] into the magazine guide until the magazine
release lever [13] catches in a notch audibly.
 Close the bolt [3] using your thumb (push in the direction of the arrow
to the end stop).
3 The firearm is now loaded with the firing pin cocked.
NOTE!
Before the firearm is used for the first time, the bolt
and the inside of the barrel must be de-oiled with a
lint-free cloth; see Point 15.3..
NOTE!
The firing pin is cocked by opening the bolt.
NOTE!
Closing the bolt causes a cartridge to be fed
from the magazine to the barrel and the trigger
and firing pin to be cocked.
