13. Fitting the bolt
Pull the bolt handle [4] back (in the direction of the arrow) and hold it
there to cock the [3] bolt.
Put the cocked bolt [3] (in the direction of the arrow) into the receiver.
To achieve the ideal insertion position, the bolt [3] should be turned
gently to and fro.
3 The bolt is now fully assembled and mounted.
To reassemble, carry out these steps in reverse.
The following must be observed when doing this:
Before pushing the rear part of the bolt [26] and the bolt clamping
sleeve [30] together, fit the locking balls [28] into the rear part of the
bolt from the inside (a little high-temperature grease will prevent the
locking balls [28] from falling out).
When assembling the parts of the bolt, attach the connecting nut (bent)
[22] to the locking receiver with the teeth pointing away from the direc-
tion of shooting and screw it together with the bolt body. The groove on
the threaded end of the bolt body must be in line with the thread of the
pin on the rear part of the bolt. Screw together by turning the connecting
nut (bent) [22], bolt body and rear part of the bold at the same time.
When screwing the front and rear parts together, the two parts of the
bolt must not be rotated with respect to one another.
The connecting nut (bent) [22] has two threads running in opposite
directions that must engage at the same time.
CAUTION:When assembling, first screw the connecting nut (bent)
[22] one rotation onto the front part of the bolt (engaging the left-hand
thread) [20].
Tighten the connecting nut (bent) [22] by hand until the bolt body can-
not be turned any more.
The tip of the firing pin [25] must protrude from the action face of the
bolt body.
Install the bolt (see Chapter 13).

The connecting nut (bent) [22] must not lie
directly against the rear part of the bolt
(there should be a light gap between them)!
