7. Verify that the instrument passes this test.

8. If the instrument is a MS462XB/C with Option 3 installed or a

MS462XD, press the SELECT SOURCE soft key to select source 2.

9. Connect the power sensor to Port 3 and select the START VERIFICA

TION soft key.

10. Verify that the instrument passes this test.

11. Select the menu soft key as follows to exit the TROUBLESHOOTING

mode:

RETURN

FINISHED, RECOVER FROM TROUBLESHOOTING

VERIFYING OUTPUT POWER ACCURACY PERFORMANCE TESTS

result will be

displayed on the

screen when the

instrument fails this

test only. The failed

test result is also

recorded in the

Service Log.

The TROUBLESHOOTING function must be properly exited to restore

normal system operation.
