3-3 VERIFYING
OUTPUT POWER
ACCURACY
These procedures use the Power ALC Verification built-in function of the
MS462XX Basic Measurement Software. The Standard Conditions and
Special Precautions described in Section 4-2 should be observed when
performing these procedures.
Equipment
Required:
The following test equipment is required:

Anritsu ML243XA Power Meter

Anritsu MA247XA Power Sensor
q
Anritsu 2100-2 GPIB Cable

Various Adapters
Procedure: 1. Set up the equipment as shown in Figure 3-1 below.
2. Turn on the instrument and allow it to warm-up (refer to Section 2-2
for more explanation).
3. Press the Utility key
4. Select:

VERIFY ALC CALIBRATION
5. Calibrate and zero the power sensor.
6. Connect the power sensor to Port 1 and select the START VERIFICA

TION soft key.
