Backlight
Fluorescent Lamp
The Backlight Fluorescent Lamp is secured to the LCD assembly. The
LCD assembly must be removed from the front panel before the Backlight
Fluorescent Lamp can be removed and replaced. Refer to Section 1-10 for
more information on the LCD backlight lamps.
NOTE
This procedure is for the Anritsu LCD assembly number
15-92 only (Sharp P/N: LQ9D340). The lamp used in the
Anritsu LCD assembly number 15-100
(Sharp LQ084V1DG21) is not replaceable.
23. Remove the LCD assembly from the front panel (refer to the
procedure above).
24. Separate the LCD module from the backing plate.
25. The backlight fluorescent lamp is held to the LCD assembly by tabs.
Peel off the tape that covers the center tab (Figure 7-4).
26. Use a small flat screw driver to push the five holding tabs clear of
the notches on the Backlight Lamp cover.
27. Carefully lift the cover while holding all of the tabs clear.
28. Replace the existing Backlight Lamp with a new lamp (part num
-
ber 632-55).
