HTTPS is enabled by default. The camera creates an unsigned certificate automatically.
When you visit the camera via HTTPS, the web browser will send a notification about the
certificate issue. Install a signed-certificate to the camera to cancel the notification.
Steps:
1. Enter the HTTPS settings interface.
Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > HTTPS
2. Check Enable HTTPS to enable the HTTPS function.
3. (Optional) Check Enable HTTPS Browsing to access the camera only via HTTPS protocol.
4. Create the self-signed certificate or authorized certificate.

OPTION 1: Create the self-signed certificate
(1) Select Create Self-signed Certificate.
(2) Click Create to create the following dialog box.

(3) Enter the country, host name/IP, validity and other information.
(4) Click OK to save the settings.
Note:
If you already had a certificate installed, the Create Self-signed Certificate is grayed out.
OPTION 2: Create the request and import the authorized certificate.
