BEFORE FIRST USE
• After unpacking the appliance, check for transport damage and that all the parts
mentioned in this manual are present. In the event of damaged or missing parts,
return the product back to Kmart.
• Do not discard the original box. It can be used for storage and dispatch to avoid
transport damage.
• Clean the appliance as described in Cleaning and Maintenance. For your safety, make
particular attention to the safety instructions supplied in the instructions manual when
using this product.
OPERATION
WARNING! Never touch the hot curling barrel.
WARNING! Always use the handle to hold the curler
ATTENTION! The curling barrel cools down slower than it heats up.
• Fully unwind the supply cord. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (B) is in OFF position.
• Place the appliance on a stable, flat, dry, heat resistant surface.
• Connect the power plug to a mains power outlet socket.
• Push the ON/OFF switch (B) to ON position, and the Power indicator (C) will light up.
• Turn the temperature setting knob (G) to increase /decrease the barrel temperature.
• You may select temperature range between 100°C and 200°C.
• The Temperature indicator (H) will keep flashing while heating up. A steady display will
be shown when the curler had reached the temperature you have set.
ATTENTION! The barrel heats up very fast. It takes approx. 3 minutes to reach max.
temperature.
• When the appliance is ready, you may start hair styling.
• Take a section no more than 3cm wide. Wind the section of hair around the barrel,
closest to the handle.
• Hold the end of hair in place for 5-8 seconds.
• Carefully unwind the strand and pull the curler away.
• Allow the curl to cool before continue styling.
• For better results, wash, comb and blow your hair until 80% dry.
