4.2.6.1. Cleaning procedure for RF cable connectors
1. What is needed for the cleaning?
a. Isopropyl alcohol
b. Compressed air
c. Lint-free wipe
d. Cotton buds
2. Remove protective cap from the RF
connector.
3. Remove metal chips and small
particles from the mating and inner
surfaces of the connector using
compressed air.
4. Clean the connector winding with lint-
free wipe drenched with isopropyl
alcohol.
