4.5. Low Power RU Alarms
4.5.1. Bite and alarms
The Built-In Test concept comprises the monitoring of the power supplies, the power
amplifiers, and the optical interface.
All alarms that occur can be checked via software at the Master Unit.
4.5.2. Handling of alarms
As soon as the software acknowledges a valid alarm, a message is transmitted to the
master unit.
If the reason for the alarm has been cleared or if the alarm should continue, a new
alarm message will not be repeated. If there is an interruption of at least five seconds
after acknowledgement, a new alarm message will be generated.
