CAP L Maintenance

CAP L MAINTENANCE

ThefollowingsectionstellyouhowtoremoveaCAPLfrommountingbrackets,andprovidespreventative

maintenance.

Remove a CAP L from a Ceiling Mount

ShouldyouneedtoremovetheCAPLfromtheceilingmount,dothefollowing:

1 WhileholdingtheCAPLwithbothhands,pressbothreleaseslidesinwardtowardstheCAPL.

2 PresstheredpowerswitchbuttonontheCAPLtoshutitdown.TheredbuttonmustbepressedBEFORE

disconnectingtheCat6Acables.TheblueLEDwillturnoffwhentheunitshutsdown.TheCAP

Lmayalso

beshutdownviasoftwarepriortodisconnectingthecables.

3 UnplugtheCAPLcables.

4 Ifagroundwireisinstalled,loosenthegroundingscrewandremovethegroundwire.
