Starng the appliance
Switching on: Press the on/o switch (3) located on the front handle and the switch
(1) on the rear handle at the same me.
Switching o: Release either of the on/switches (3) or (1).
Please note: The blade brake makes the blade stop immediately, a small ash may
occur in the upper venlaon slots. This is normal and will not harm the machine.
Using the appliance
 When trimming a hedge, rst cut the sides from the boom to the top. Cut the
upper part giving it the shape you prefer.
 The lever guide will help you control the blade in a horizontal acon.
 The safety blade has laterally rounded and staggered cung teeth to reduce the
danger of injury. The addional shock protecon avoids inconvenient kickback
when the blades come into contact with walls and fences.
 If the blades are jammed or blocked by obstacles, switch the motor o
immediately, remove the plug from the electrical supply and remove the object
from the jamming blades.
 Obstacles such as metal fences may damage the cung blades.
 When using the appliance keep the extension cord behind yourself and plan the
direcon you are cung the hedge.
