 Before using the appliance make yourself familiar with the working area and be
alert to any potenal hazards.
 Never touch the unprotected blades and never carry the appliance by the
blades.
 Check the hedge for foreign objects before using the appliance.
 Aach the hand guard before beginning operaon. Aach the guard to the
appliance then secure it using the two cross head screws provided.
