When the appliance is unaended, maintenance is being carried out, cleaning,
blade oiling or when the blades are blocked, always switch the appliance o at
the mains.
Always make sure the hand guard is mounted on the machine when using the
hedge trimmer. Never remove any of its components and never use a damaged
or incomplete machine. Never modify any parts or the machine, components or
tamper with the original trimmer arrangement in anyway.
Only use splash proof extension cords approved for outdoor use and marked
accordingly.
Before using the hedge trimmer examine the appliance, cord and plug. If any
components are worn or damaged, have them checked, repaired or replaced by
an authorised service centre.
Remove the plug from the electrical supply if the extension cord or the
appliances cord has been damaged or cut in anyway.
Always wear suitable clothing, an–slip shoes and close ng garments which
can not get caught, however do not restrict movement. Tie long hair back or
protect hair in a net. Do not wear bracelets or long jewellery, which could get
entangled in moving parts.
Always wear safety goggles or a face guard, protecve gloves and ear protectors.

Do not use the machine when it is wet or raining.
Individuals below the age of 16 and individuals who are not familiar with the
instrucons are not allowed to use the machine.
The person using the machine is responsible for any damage or injuries
sustained by third pares or their property which has been caused by the
appliance.
When operang the appliance always take great care and hold it rmly with
both hands. Choose a stable and safe posion before switching the appliance on.
Check regularly that all screws are properly secured. Check the cung blades
regularly for any damage. If you noce any damage send the appliance for repair
immediately at a service centre.
