Maintenance, cleaning and storage
Note: Before beginning maintenance, repair and cleaning please ensure the appliance
is switched o and the electrical cord is removed from the mains supply.
 When carrying out maintenance on the cung blades, please be aware that the
motor will not start due to the “interlock” feature of the guard however the
cung blades can sll move if the motor is turned by hand.
 Never aempt to override the interlock feature of the guarding.
 Clean the appliance aer every use. Clean the plasc parts including the main
body with warm soapy water and a standard cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning
substances on the appliance.
 Do not aempt to clean the shredder with a jet washer or by rinsing it under a
tap. Water should never enter the appliance.
 Aer using the appliance, always empty debris deposited in the appliance with a
brush.
 Only use recommended accessories and aachments with the shredder.
