Important safety precautions This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands. Introduction You can use a variety of flavoured sugars with your candy floss maker such as: 1. Strawberry 2. Apple 3. Before Using the appliance Before using your appliance make sure to wash the bowl, please follow the cleaning instruction labelled in “cleaning”.
sugar into the centre of the receptacle (Figure F). Switch it to the on position. Hold the collection stick vertically and slowly circle it around the bowl. Once the candy floss has started to collect on the stick, change to holding the stick in a horizontal position and move it from side to side making sure you are collecting all the cotton candy (Figure G). Turn the unit “off” when all the sugar has been dispensed.
Important notes For optimum results: Be sure to turn the unit “on” and allow it to run for at least 35 minutes before starting. This allows the unit to warm up before beginning to actually spin the cotton candy. Only add sugar to the extractor head when it has come to a complete stop. Never use ingredients other than pure granulated sugar or overfill the sugar receptacle as this will cause clogging. Allow the unit to cool down for 5 minutes after finishing each candy floss.

Cleaning instructions a) Make sure the unit is unplugged and is cool before cleaning. b) After cooling, remove the extractor head assembly by pulling it straight up. Unlock the bowl by turning it clockwise and removing it. (Figure B,C ,D). Wash both parts in warm water, rinse and dry thoroughly. c) Use a slightly damp, non-abrasive sponge or non-abrasive towel to wipe clean the outside of the unit and then wipe it with a non-abrasive towel to dry it.
Warning: If the appliance is double insulated indicated by the double insulated symbol: it should not have an earth wire or earth connection. Plug The plug must be protected by the correct AMP fuse; this will be indicated on the case of the plug. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. When changing the fuse always replace it with a fuse that is of the same identical rating as the original. If you are unsure about which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualified electrician.
