21 Troubleshooting Guide
Useful life of battery
has been reached or
exceeded.
► Have the battery checked by an authorized STIHL servicing
dealer.
Battery is not being
charged even though
LED on charger
glows green.
1 LED glows
red.
Battery too hot / too
cold.
► Allow the battery to warm up or cool down gradually at
ambient temperatures of about 50 °F to 68 °F (10 °C to
20 °C).
Battery cannot be
found with the STIHL
connected App.
Bluetooth
®
interface
at the battery or at
your mobile device is
not turned on.
► Activate the Bluetooth
®
interface at the battery and at your
mobile device.
Distance between
the battery and your
mobile device is too
large.
► Reduce the distance between the battery and your mobile
device, @ 22.1.
► If the battery still cannot be found with the STIHL connected
App: Contact a STIHL servicing dealer for assistance.
Always disconnect the battery before carrying out any inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
