Non-Contact Thermometer- Quick Start Guide

Do not allow other people to use your thermometer. The thermometer is
specifically assigned to you and you only. Allowing other people to use
your thermometer can mislead your provider.
Taking a Measurement
1. Press and hold the "Power/Measure” trigger to turn on the thermometer.
2. The light next to the word BODY should be lit to indicate it is in BODY MODE. If
the light next to the word SURFACE is lit, press the "MODE" button to select
BODY MODE.
3. Point the head of the thermometer.5 inches to approximately 2 inches from
the forehead.
4. Pull the “Power/Measure” trigger and release. The thermometer beeps when
the reading is complete. The temperature displays in the LCD Viewing
window.
5. The thermometer will turn off automatically in 1 minute.
6. The reading will automatically be transferred to the RCP SmartHub and then
sent to your provider.
Understanding the Results
Your temperature will display on the LCD screen on the back side of the head of
the thermometer.
The normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
