This range hood uses halogen bulbs:
20 W 120 V Type MR16 GU10
Maintenance
Removing old lightbulbs

Make sure the range hood is unplugged or turn OFF
breaker.

Remove lters. Reach into interior of range hood
and place one hand above the metal bracket and
with two ngers gently push down on the socket
area. (See Fig #6).
CAUTION: BULB MAY BE HOT, PLEASE TAKE
OUT THE BULB WHEN THE BULB IS
COMPLETELY COOL!
Note: Range hood and Lightbulbs may have very sharp
edges; please wear protective gloves if it is necessary
to remove any parts for installing, cleaning or servicing.

So as not to accidently break the glass, gently
place two ngers from second hand onto the
surface of the light bulb. (See Fig #6) Gently turn
the lightbulb counter clockwise to loosen and
unlock lightbulb from socket. Once unlocked the
lightbulb should come out freely.
Installing new lightbulbs

With your new lightbulb in one hand, ensure the
bulb prongs are lined up with the wide ends of the
two slots located in the socket.

Slip light bulb into the wide ends of the two slots
and turn clockwise until a locked position is
apparent. (See Fig #7)
Note: Do not push too hard as the light bulb prongs may
break off.

Turn ON electrical breaker and range hood to test
for operation.
Replacing the Light Bulbs
IMPORTANT:
ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AT THE MAIN PANEL BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATION
ON THE APPLIANCE.

Cleaning Filters
IMPORTANT: Drain oil from spacers, lters, oil tunnels, oil containers before oil and residue overow!
• Remove all spacers, lters, grease tray, and oil containers and discard oil and residue.
• Wash with warm soapy water. NOTE: Stainless steel lters, spacers and oil tunnel are top rack dishwasher safe.
• Dry thoroughly before replacing and follow directions for installation in reverse.
• Filters should be cleaned after every 30 hours of use.
• Should lters wear out due to age and prolonged use, replace with a new lter.
