Step 3: Rear venting (horizontal) using rectangular damper

Preparing Range Hood

• Remove unit from packaging

• Position the unit on its back on a flat non abrasive surface - front facing you (See Figure #3)

•

Remove the 2 filters to allow access to the inside of the unit (See Figure #3)

•

Remove rear vent back plate

• Position the unit face down on a flat non abrasive surface with rear of product facing you

• Remove the back plate by removing the 4 screws (See Figure #5)

INSTALLATION:

SAFETY WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. This range hood must be properly grounded. Make sure

this is done by a qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable national and local electrical codes.

Before connecting wires, switch power off at service panel and lock service panel to prevent power from

being switched on accidentally.

Cut tie wraps on motor cables so wires are free to move and be relocated (See Figure #4)
