12.10.11 De-rating Characteristics
AMD2000 3A drive de-rating Curves
The AMD 9 has no thermal ratings curves, as the full 9A rms output may be used up to 55 °C ambient
temperature and maximum voltage rating of the drive.
Note that these curves are for a single drive only. Where multiple drives are used in close proximity further de-
rating may be necessary. Please see mechanical drawings below that show spacing required.
12.11 Input Power-cycling and Inrush
Upon start-up the drive will have an inrush current of no more than 6.8 A. Power cycling the drive more than
once every 10 s is not recommended.
