Mounting the Switcher
NOTE: The SMX comes in 2U, 3U, 4U, or 5U sizes. Before attempting installation,
ensure the rack is able to accommodate your particular device size.
Four uninstalled rubber feet are included with the SMX. Install the feet only if the unit is to
be mounted on a table top (see Tabletop Placement).
Tabletop Placement
For tabletop placement, install the (provided) self-adhesive rubber feet/pads onto the four
corners of the bottom of the device.
