7.3.4 Inputs secon
The nave background is an addional layer which
is under all layers. It can be used with one of the
input sources or with a color.
The specicaon of the nave background is that
an input source or a Frame loaded into that layer
will not be scaled. The input is displayed in its
nave resoluon. You can dene up to 8 nave
backgrounds.
In this secon, you will dene which input is able to be set as a nave background. The nave background
will be a non-scaled input display behind every layer. When an input is congured as a possible nave
background, you will lose the anamorphic aspect sengs of this input (see Aspect rao in chapter: 7.3.10
Input management).
In this secon, you will dene which sll Logo/Frame is able to be dened as a nave background. When a
Frame is selected as a possible nave background, you will lose the anamorphic aspect sengs of this Logo/
Frame.

Under the inputs secon, you can dene which of your inputs will be a
dual head inputs, meaning they are two paired inputs seng adjacent
content. First, select the plug and then the dual head buon if it is the
case. (See chapter: 7.3.10 Input management.) You nd here the ref
sync feature. If you use genlocked inputs, you need to check the ref
sync box for every genlocked inputs (same genlock).

The best applicaon is to aect, into the nave background, an input which has the same nave resoluon
that the output.
If you would like to use one of the inputs source as nave background for one of the outputs, you should
make this choice in the inputs menu of the Setup assistant:
Acvate NATIVE for the inputs you would like to use later as nave.
If NATIVE is acvated, you will be able to choose later into the menu this input as a nave background. Be
careful about enable all inputs as nave background input. When enabling it, the input loses some aspect
process. Being a nave input, the input loses its ASPECT IN sengs, that means you will not be able to change
the anamorphic size of the input (see INPUT > ASPECT IN)
In the same idea, into the next menu called LOGOS you can select frames to be nave background Frames.
