RKD8044-T Chapter 4 : OPERATING MODE Refer to DiventiX 8044 User Guide Chapter 5 : UPDATING THE RKD8044-T The RKD8044-T can be update with a COMPUTER (PC) via its RS-232 connector. Connect the RS-232 connector to the serial port of a Computer with the "UPDATE" cable supplied with. Connect the AC power supply cord to the C, and turn ON the RKD8044-T. RKD8044-T Click Next. Open the file: 'RKD8044_UP.exe' (in Start/Programs/ANALOG WAY/RKD88044 Updater). Open the Port/Setup menu, select RS-232 and set the COM port connected to the device.
RKD8044-T Close the Port/Setup Window. Updating the RKD8044-T : Click the START button on the software. Switch the RKD8044-T OFF and ON. The update will start. When finished, The LCD Display “UPDATE COMPLETE”. Click OK. Remove the UPDATE Cable. Switch the RKD8044-T OFF and ON. Connect the REMOTE Cable if you use RS-232 to control the DVX 8044.

RKD8044-T WARRANTY Analog Way warrants the product against any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase (back to the factory). In the event of any malfunction during the warranty period, Analog Way will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective units, including free materials and labor.
