UPDATING THE DEVICE
ThedevicecanbeupdatedviatheRS232communicationportorviaLANcommunicationportacomputer(PC).
1) SwitchONthedevice.
2) Openthele:OctoValueUpdater(inStart>Program>ANALOGWAY>OctoValueUpdater).
3) Click on the Port menu and select setup : the Communication setup window open.
- If you use the RS232 port : Select RS232 and the Com port connected to the device.
 -IfyouusetheLANPort:SelectUDPorTCPandselectthecommunicationparameters.
4) Click on START on the software. The update will start.
5) When the software displays : Program operation completed, click on the Quit button to close the update
software. Your device is now ready to work.
1) Connect the device to an AC power outlet.
2) SwitchONthedevice(REARPANELSWITCH=I).
3) Connect the device to the computer used for the update via the desired communication port.
- For the RS232 communication port : Connect the RS232 connector of the device to the serial port of your
computerwithaDB9M/Fstraightcable.
 -FortheLANcommunicationport:ConnecttheRJ45connectorofthedevicetoyournetworkaccordingto
yourinstallation.ThenwiththefrontpaneldisplaymenuconguretheLANcommunicationport(CONTROL>
LANsetup)andactivatetheLANcommunicationport(CONTROL>RS232/LANport>LAN).
