5.1 Using the joysck
The joysck in the Layout secon of the Orchestra² allows you to move,
resize or zoom any selected element on the touch screen.
To use the joysck to posion elements on screen, select an element (logo,
PIP...) and press the POS buon, then, lt the joysck le to move the
selected element le, lt right to move right, and so on.
To use the joysck to resize elements on screen, select an element, and press
the SIZE buon. Tilt the joysck le to scale it down horizontally, lt right to
scale it up. Tilt joysck up and down to scale it vercally. You can also rotate
the joysck to scale elements up (clockwise) or down (counterclockwise)
both vercally and horizontally.
When using the joysck to zoom elements on screen, select an element
and press the ZOOM buon. When the ZOOM buon is acve, you can
either zoom into your source, by pressing the SIZE buon then lng the
joysck le to zoom out, or right to zoom in, and so on. Or, you can press
the POS buon, then lng the joysck in dierent direcons moves the
zoomed source around in those direcons inside the element.
Any selected layer (Frame, Live Background, PIP, Logo) on the
Orchestra² is represented graphically on the Sengs secon
tacle screen as a yellow rectangle outline. Informaon on
the layer is wrien in the layer outline rectangle for users to
access informaon quickly and intuively. The selected layer is
composed of a outline, called Element, which you can access
by pressing Element on the Preview page, and a Source (image)
which you can parameter by pressing Source on the Preview
page. The element or source sengs can also be accessed by
turning the last knob of the Sengs secon le or right.
5.2.2 Snap Funcon
The snap feature is a powerful tool which helps you to reach all intuive layers posions. With this tool, your
enre PIP/logo move will be automacally posioned at the closest predened posion. Enable or disable
this funcon, by long pressing the POS or SIZE buons.
Once acvated, simply use the joysck, each me the layer will be next to a predened point, the posion/
size will be adjust by the unit.
It can be very useful when PIPs are disperse and you want to adjust PIPs below the others, or on the same
line.
5.2.3 Element Sengs
To access the element sengs of any selected layer (Frame, Live Background, PIP, Logo) on the Orchestra²
press Element at the boom of the Preview page, or turn the last knob of the Sengs secon.
