3. The Enable checkbox allows you to acvate (default) or de-acvate sources. De-acvang a source will
result in an inaccessible buon on the Orchestr front panel.
The Edit So Edge tab will be available if the connected slave device is being used in Embedded So Edge
mode (for example a Di-VenX II) or if several units has been added to the screen for a mul-univ SEB.
NOTE: For more details on So Edge Blending, please refer to the So Edge Blending chapter of this manual
1. In the Screen Setup page of the Orchestra², press Edit So
Edge.
2. On the So Edge Setup page, you will nd several tabs to
control and adjust your So Edge. Press on So Edge Type to
choose the type of So Edge to apply (horizontal or vercal).
You can also posion the devices within the screen by scrolling
with the appropriate knob le or right.
3. Press the Covering tab to control the amount of So Edge
covering you need (indicated in pixels). By rotang the
corresponding knob, increase (right) or decrease (le) the
amount of image covering on your So Edge.
4. Press Black to adjust the levels of black for your So Edge. On
the Black tab, select the slave device you wish to work on, and
rotate the corresponding knobs to determine black levels then
the black size for your So Edge.
5. Press the Blending tab to ne tune your So Edge. Select
a device in the dropdown menu, then, by rotang the
corresponding knobs, posion the X and Y points of the
Blending curve, and increase or decrease their values to obtain
the desired onscreen balance for your So Edge.
6. Press Paern to go to the Paerns tab, and select the
appropriate paerns to setup and ne tune your So Edge
image. Choose amongst None, V. (vercal) Grey Scale, H.
(horizontal) Grey Scale, V (vercal) Color Bars, H. (horizontal)
Color Bars, Grid, SMPTE, Burst, Centering and Covering.
NOTE: To congure your So Edge properly, you will probably need to generate several types of paerns.
Some paerns are dedicated to video projector setup (like Grid or Centering), where others are
designed to adjust image blending (like Burst or Covering). Simply select the paern you want to use
at any given stage, adjust your sengs, and return to the Paerns tab to change paern for further
adjustments, or to remove it from your screen.
4.2.8 So Edge Setup
