Enabling this funcon, you will disable the ying PIP feature. You will force the transion of the source into
the layer instead of using the ying PIP.
Going from the rst picture to the second picture:
With the force cross transion, layers stay in posion and each layer
fade the sources.
Without the force cross transion, there is no fade, the layers y
unl their nal desnaon.

Enable the Smooth Move to perform a smooth transion on the layer. Disable the smooth move if you require
a reclinear move.

Dene, instead of a straight move during a PIP slide, a parabolic moon.

Here is the secon where the layer transion duraon is dened.
First of all you have to dene the global transion duraon preset under
the DURATION value. This is the total duraon of your transion.
Next you will have to adjust the beginning, the end and the duraon of
each layer transion. Simply click on the selected layer bar and adjust
the start and the end of the transion, then move the bar, thanks to the
middle buon, to place your transion into the total transion duraon.
If you want to set up your preset accurately, you need to set up the opening and the closing ming. The
opening sengs will aect only the opening transion of layer and the closing aects only the closing
transion layers.
Speed
When the layer is ying over the screen, you can dene a nonlinear
speed depending on its posion during the transion. Please adjust
the speed depending of the posion thanks to the start and end speed
value. To use this seng, the smooth move has to be enabled.
7.4.4 Layer selecon and nave background
A: In1
B: In2 B: In1
A: In2
In the EDIT menu you can select any of your layers quickly by clicking on the layer
shortcut (N, A, B, C, D, E, F).
If you select the nave background layer, a specic menu will open.
In this window you can choose the “setyou want to use into your actual preset. You
can adjust dierent parameters for this preset:
The background color: If you chose color into your set, the color sengs will be
the aected color. If you chose input or frame, the color will be sll here, but
under your input/frame. The only way to see it is to have a smaller image/frame
than the output resoluon.
• The transparency of the nave background layer
• The transion type (cut or fade to color) and the ming of this transion.
