Superior noise performance shown in Figure 18 can signicantly improve performance of components supplied by the
HMC1060LP3E. As an example, Figure 19 shows that using the HMC1060LP3E low noise regulator instead of a high
quality low noise laboratory power supply can improve the HMC507LP5E VCO phase noise by up to 10 dB.
