A load cell can be connected directly to the AD7195 evaluation
board. When WeighScale Demo is clicked in the main window,
the user is guided through a series of windows that provide
information about connecting the load cell to the AD7195
evaluation board. The AD7195 is automatically configured to
have a gain of 128 and an output data rate of 10 Hz. In addition,
Channel AIN3-AIN4 and dc excitation re selected. When the
instructions given on each window are completed, click OK. The
AD7195 evaluation board gathers samples continuously and uses
batches of 20 samples to analyze the data. The software displays
the maximum voltage measured, the average voltage, the
minimum voltage, the rms noise, and the resolution. The
sample size used to process the data can be altered using the
Last # Samples text box.
