A load cell can be connected directly to the AD7191 evaluation

board. When the Weig hS c ale Demo button is clicked, you are

guided through a series of windows that give information on

connecting the load cell to the AD7191 evaluation board. The

last window gives instructions on configuring the AD7191.

When the instructions given on each window are completed,

click OK. The AD7191 evaluation board gathers samples continu-

ously and uses batches of 20 samples to analyze the data. The

software displays the maximum voltage measured, the average

voltage, the minimum voltage, the rms noise, and the resolu-

tion. The sample size used to process the data can be changed

using the Last # Samples box in the main window.
