TPDesign3 Touch Panel Program
Product Information
TPDesign3 is a 32-bit Windows
®
application that enables you to create touch panel pages in
minutes. You can use TPDesign3 to import fonts, bitmaps, and icons for use in your file pages and
then download the newly created files to either a touch panel or the Internet. TPDesign3 provides
point-and-click touch panel programming and page printing. You can program panels through the
Central Controller's program port via AXlink or directly through the touch panel's onboard RS-232
DB-9 port. In order for touch panels to effectively handle using TPD3 designed panel pages, they
must have the most current firmware and appropriate memory installed.
Features
! Added a Snap To Grid icon feature to both the Edit and right-click button menus.
! Added the Confirm Page Delete Actions to the Edit > Preferences > Application tab >
Miscellaneous section. This feature confirms page deletion from the current TPDesign3
project file.
! Addition of items to the Main toolbar, such as: Snap To Grid, On State, and Lock Button
(also added to both the Edit and Button drop-down menus).
! Sensors Setup button on the Button Types toolbar is available for the adjustment of
sensors on the four-inch Color Passive panels.
! Static and WebLinx HTML files now have the option to enable or disable the emulation
of external buttons.
! Size To Picture feature resizes a button to fit the dimensions of the inserted graphic.
! Simulation mode and Static/WebLinx exports now obey External Button Style properties.
! Increased support of image types by the Bitmap Manager.
! Provides support for 1 and 2-bit Black/White bitmaps.
! Unicode
®
character support for far-eastern languages such as Chinese. Characters for
middle-eastern languages such as Arabic are not supported within the Unicode fonts
because they are bi-directional. Buttons with Unicode fonts can only be created and
edited using the TPDesign3 Touch Panel Design Program.
! Upload, revise, and update existing TPDesign3 touch panel files.
