Creating a Page Flip
Page flips let you select an object on a page and "flip" to another page in the project. You must have
two or more pages in your project to setup a page flip.
To create page flips:
1. Select or draw a button to use for activating a page flip. Then, double-click the button to
display the Button Properties dialog box (FIG. 14).
2. Under Page Flip, select Standard.
3. For Destination, use the drop-down list selection and click the destination page.
4. You can also:
! Enter the values for Channel Code and Variable Text, or press Assign for each.
! Use the Feedback drop-down list to view and select the type of button feedback required
for a page flip. Click OK to save your selections and values.
! Enter the necessary text and text properties from the text dialog box to describe the button
on the touch panel. Click OK to save your selections to the button's properties.
Setting Joystick Button Properties
You can create a joystick button on the panel page. Joysticks are vertical and horizontal direction
controllers you can use for camera operations, such as pan and tilt.
1. Draw a button on the working page by using the Button Draw tool from the Main toolbar, and
then select the border style and colors.
2. Click the Joystick button from the Button Types toolbar. The button now becomes a joystick
controller.
3. To set the joystick button attributes, double-click the joystick button just created; the Button
Properties dialog box for a joystick (FIG. 15) appears.
4. Enter the Device number and Channel number or select Channel-Assign.
5. Under Variable Text address, assign a Device, Channel, or click VarText-Assign.
6. Under Joystick Type, select Centering or Non-Centering for the joystick title or select
Centering or Non-Centering for the Crosshair placement on the button.
7. Enter the Device levels or press Level-Assign.
8. Assign the Horizontal and Vertical values.
