TPDesign3 Touch Panel Program
! Windows options give the user the ability to cascade the open page windows from upper
right to lower left. Cascading allows you to view all of the window title bars. Another
feature of this menu is the listing of the open project files.
! Help menu options give the user the choice of opening the Help Contents (on-line help)
or viewing information about the version of the TPDesign3 program being used (in the
form of a splash-screen).
Standard Toolbar
You can use the Standard toolbar buttons to perform a wide variety of operations. The Standard
toolbar is not selectable from the drop-down menus and always appears on the Workspace. It is
movable and can be placed in either a vertical or horizontal positions.
The Standard toolbar buttons are described in the following table. Select Standard, from the Tools
menu, to toggle the Main toolbar buttons On or Off in the Main window.
ALIGN sets the alignment on multiple buttons.
MAKE SAME SIZE makes the Height/Width/or both features of selected buttons the same.
HORIZONTAL SPACING adjusts the horizontal spacing of selected buttons.
VERTICAL SPACING adjusts the vertical spacing of selected buttons.
Standard Toolbar Buttons
New Creates a new project file.
Open Opens an existing project file.
Close File Closes the currently displayed project file.
Save Saves the currently displayed project file without closing it.
Cut Cuts the highlighted object from the displayed panel page.
Copy Copies the highlighted object on the displayed panel page.
Paste Pastes a previously copied or cut object onto the currently displayed panel page.
Delete Deletes the currently highlighted object on the currently displayed panel page.
Run Simulation Runs a limited capability simulation of the project file being created.
Add Page Adds a new touch panel page to the project file currently being developed.
