Upgrading the Vision
2
Software
Periodic upgrades will occasionally be available for the Vision
2
interface. Upgrades are available by
contacting AMX Tech Support at 800-932-6993.
Upgrading to Vision
2
Software Version 7.1
Perform the following steps to upgrade the Vision
2
software to version 7.1:
1. Copy the V2upgrade7-1.exe file onto the desktop of the server.
2. Double-click the V2upgrade7-1.exe file to execute the script and begin the installation process (FIG. 44).
3. Click Next.
4. You can use the default installation location or specify a location by clicking the Browse (...) button.
Once you determine a location, click Finish. The upgrade begins to install.
Before upgrading, it is recommended that you make a copy of the server for backup
purposes.
