Create New Role options
• Role Name The friendly name of the security level or "role" within the RMS server.
• Description A brief description of the role and the rights it holds.
• Available Users Users within the RMS application that can be added to the role.
• Selected Users Users that have been added to the role.
• << / >> Moves a selected user to the left and right adding or removing the user from the role.
• Manage Users When Allow is checked, users in this role can add, edit, and delete other users and how
RMS interacts with those users, e.g., notifications.
• Configuration
Settings
When Allow is checked, users in this role can access the configuration section of the
Admin pages. Create and edit log settings.
• Manage Systems When Allow is checked, users in this role can add, edit, and delete rooms, and manage
NetLinx systems and groups.
• Logging &
Reporting
When Allow is checked, users in this role can view and edit all logs and reports.
• Manage Control
Functions
When Allow is checked, users in this role can run and schedule control functions.
