When you have completed testing, click Close.
Click Next to continue.
System Settings - SNMP
SNMP is the network management protocol used almost exclusively in TCP/IP networks. SNMP provides a
means to monitor rooms, systems, and devices in the RMS system.
Enter all the appropriate SNMP settings in the SNMP Services screen (FIG. 33).

SNMP Settings
Enable RMS SNMP
Services
Place a check in the box to enable SNMP Services.
SNMP Agent Port
(161 default)
Type the port number to use for SNMP.
SNMP Community The group to which devices and management stations running SNMP belong.
This field is usually a "friendly" name.
SNMP Trap
Community
An alert that is sent to a management station by agents.
This field is usually a "friendly" name.
SNMP Trap
Recipients
The name or IP address of hosts to which traps are to be sent.
This is the management station, either a DNS name or IP address.
Add Adds a new recipient.
Remove Removes selected recipient.
