System Settings
The system settings pages allow you to change the management access password and restart the NXA-
WA P 2 5 0G .
Administration
Management access to the NXA-WAP250G is controlled through a single password (FIG. 18).
To protect access to the management interface, you need to configure an Administrator password as soon
as possible. If the password is not configured, then anyone having access to the NXA-WAP250G may be
able to compromise NXA-WAP250G and network security.
The displayed items on this page can be described as follows:
 Username – The name of the user. The default name is “admin.” The user name is not
configurable.
 New Password – The password for management access. (Length: 0-32 characters, case
sensitive)
 Confirm New Password – Enter the password again for verification.
Operation Mode
The NXA-WAP250G can be set as an access point, a wireless repeater or a wireless bridge according to
how you want to use the unit in your network (FIG. 19).

Pressing the reset button on the back of the NXA-WAP250G for more than five
seconds resets the user name and password to the factory defaults.
