Expansion Tanks—Domestic Hot Water Systems- Large Capacity
The Honeywell Thermal Expansion Absorber is a welded,
pressurized expansions tank with a butyl diaphragm to control
excess pressure in potable hot water systems. The Thermal
Expansion Tanks controls pressure build-up in the system,
eliminates relief valve spillage, protects fixtures and extends water
heater life.
• Heavy Duty butyl rubber diaphragm (FDA Approved) isolates water
from air.
• Polypropylene liner, 100% non-metallic, non-corrosive water
reservoir.
• Prevents water hammer.
• Maintenance free.
• Protects water heater from harmful pressure cycling.
• Allows storage of expanded water with controlled increase in
systems pressures.
Maximum Operating Temperature: 240 F (115 C)
Maximum Operating Pressure: 150 psi (1034 kPa)
Precharge: 40 psi
Connection Type: NPT Female
