Cleaning and Disinfection

Equipment Surface

• Wipe the equipment surface down with a moist cloth; do not allow liquid to enter the

equipment. All cleaning agents and disinfectants commonly used in hospitals are

suitable. Do not use abrasive products.

Connection Cables

• Disconnect the cables from the device and remove the AC power connector before

cleaning or disinfection. When disconnecting the cable, be sure to pull on the

connector, not on the cable.

• Clean the cable by rubbing it down with a cloth moistened with soap water. Use a

disinfectant for disinfection. Do not immerse the cable in liquid.

WARNING:

Shock Hazard — Disconnect the AC power cord from the power input

connector from flat-screen display before cleaning or disinfection from

monitor surface.

Do not reconnect the devices to the power line before all cleaned parts are

completely dry.

use of the cleaning agents and disinfectants supplied by the manufacturers.
