The predicted value of the CV at the current
execution. This value includes bias.
• For CVs with a periodic [UPDATE
FREQUENCY], such as analyzer values,
predicted values are used until new values are
available.
• For non critical CVs, predicted values are used
when the PV is bad or unavailable for < the
[# of BAD READS ALLOWED].

Predictions are to the end of the control
funnel, which is roughly three times the
nominal settling time, plus delay.

Predictions are to steady state for the Profit
Controller and the Profit Optimizer (DQP).
For controller purposes, the steady state horizon is
six times the natural settling time.
Values Display In Color . . .
• Cyan = Predicted to be within limits.
• Yellow = Predicted to be near limits.
• Red = Predicted to violate limits (>1% beyond
limit).
Lo Limit
Target OPER
Low end of the operating range. The lowest
acceptable value.
Active
Read-Only No Access
The low limit value that the controller is using
at this execution.
• This parameter keeps the controller from over-
reacting to what it would otherwise perceive as
a continued limit violation while ramping to a
new limit.
• Unless the controller is actively ramping the
CV, this value is the same as the low limit.
• Active limits π Hi/Lo limits when [CONTROL
THIS CV] = NO.

High end of the operating range. The highest
acceptable value.
