The execution period that was used when
building the optimizer in the off-line design.
The execution interval used in the off-line design
created process dynamics that show up in the
process model that the on-line optimizer is using.
The execution interval from the off-line design (of the
model you loaded on the system) must be the same
interval used when the system is control.
Actual Exec Period

The execution period being used by the
optimizer.
• When the optimizer is on control, the actual
execution period is the same as the design
execution period. The only time the period can
vary is in simulation.
• You can set the execution period in simulations
shorter to reduce simulation time, but remember
to set the execution of the CV simulation points to
match the shorter period.
