Message: Call to X-side setup failed
Error
Meaning Suggested Response
A failure occurred while attempting to
communicate with the X-side from
block DQP_PNTR on the main
controller point.
1. Make sure that the AM is recognized as an AxM node. If not,
reload the AxM (LCN-side).
2. Make sure that the gain/delay storage point is ACTIVE.
3. Make sure the XACCESS switch is set to READWRIT. This
allows read-write capability to the LCN from all X-side
applications.
4. Inactivate then reactivate the main controller point.
5. If the error persists, note the message number, and call the
Honeywell Technical Assistance Center.

Message: Call to X-side read parameters failed
Error
Meaning Suggested Response
A failure occurred while attempting to
communicate with the X-side from
block DQP_READ on the main
controller point.
See the suggested response to error 53. But before calling TAC, make
sure that:
1. The .XS and .XM files are located in /USERS/RMPC/CONFIG
on the X-side.
2. They are readable by all. If not, enter this UNIX command:
chmod 744/users/rmpc/config/*
3. The name of the .XS and .XM files on the Controller Detail
display includes only the file names (no directories, and no
extension).

Cannot read the controller definition
files because they are not compatible
with current LCN software.
Rebuild the controller using a compatible off-line builder, then reload the
.XS and .XM files.
