Product Information Product Information The AXF-MINI Axcess Mini-CardFrame can be used as a stand-alone control system or as an addon to existing Axcess or Axcent2 systems. The stand-alone configuration uses an optional AMX Enhanced Master card (AXC-EM) and up to three optional AXC control cards. The add-on configuration uses up to three optional AXC cards and is connected via the AXlink data/power bus along with control panels and AXB AXlink controllers.
Product Information AXF-MINI Specifications Backplane Components (Cont.): Device DIP switch The DEVICE DIP switch is used to set SLOT 1 of the CardFrame to one of 255 devices in an Axcess or Axcent2 system. Each subsequent slot in the CardFrame is automatically assigned to the next device number. The device number is set by the total of all ON (up) switches. See the chart below. For example, the DIP switch below is set for device number 18 (2 + 16 = 18).
