INSTALLING A PRECIS
ENCLOSURE
Precis enclosures are designed to fit in a standard
EIA 19 in (48.26 cm) rack. Each enclosure
comes with the following items in the box:

INSTALLING A PRECIS ENCLOSURE
Place the Precis enclosure in a rack and
fasten with mounting screws.

Attach a null modem serial cable (pinout on
next page) and the power cord (plugging in the
power cord turns on the enclosure).
Make sure the power outlet is close to the
enclosure and is easily accessible.
Optical and coaxial connectors
