¾ No software, including drivers, applications, and utilities that you
may have installed are present after the initial setup.
You may use the “Recover CD” as bootable CD to start the Tablet PC
in case it is not functioning.
In case of unsuccessful restoration or installation that may lead to loss
of data; to prevent this, read the 2 cautions before using the “Recover
CD”. Please refer to the documentation included in the CDs for more
detailed information on using the “Recover CD”. If the tablet PC does
not function, you can start the system using the “System Recover CD”;
the CD is bootable.
To pre ve nt a ny loss of data, ple a se ba c k your file s t o your
ha rd drive be fore re-insta lling the operating systm using t he
“System Re c over CD”.
In case t here is a se rious dam a ge or an unsuc c essful
re storat ion or inst allation on your Table t PC, use t he “Re c over
CD” t o pre vent it only if the syst em is c onnecte d t o a reliable
exte rna l pow e r or AC ada pte r or opt ional dock ing stat ion or DC
cable. We don’t rec omme nd you to use the “Re c over CD” during
a pow er failure or running on ba ttery pow e r or connecte d t o an
optiona l Aut o/Air ca ble or Autom obile Pow er ada pt e r/cha rger.
