If the host serial interface is configured for 7 bit data with no parity, data from host computer must
contain two stop bits.
Handshaking Protocols:
X-ON/X-OFF: (DCI/DC3) In this protocol, the printer will respond with the DC3
(X-OFF) character when:
Print buffer is nearly full.
The cover is open.
Paper out condition exists.
Carriage jam or paper jam condition detected.
Printer is off line.
