THEORY
OF
OPERATION
4.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter is intended to provide a basic technical understanding
of
the Little
Board/PC
for
hardware engineers, programmers, and
system integrators.
The
functioning
of
many
of
the board's devices is dependent
on
a variety
of
programming
options. Therefore, to explain the normal functions performed by these devices as used
on
the Little Board/PC, some reference is made to the board's ROM-BIOS default device con-
ftgurations and programming.
Figure
4-1
shows a block diagram of the Little Board/PC's onboard functions.
