Switching the mobile phone on and off

Switch off

: Press and hold the red end call key.

Switch on

: Press and hold the red end call key until the

display light will be switched on. Enter the PIN code for

your SIM card and press

. Entering the PIN code is not

required if this feature is switched off for your SIM card

(refer to page 57 “PIN lock“ / not available for every pro-

vider).

Important Note: If the display light turns off, any key-

stroke activates only the light again. You must press

the desired button a second time to perform the

function.
